Miflash uses Fastboot rom,Twrp recovery rom.

Recovery roms are used to perform an update or troubleshooting and only contain the necessary system files while the fastboot roms contain all the imgs of the phone (hence the size difference), to be used to change version or unbrick.

May come from the version of Mi Flash and/or the Miflash folder is not at the root of the disk.
I never had an issue like this. I read few post ago about your advice, but in this case i used 2 mi flash versions, one from year 2020 and the last one from 2022, installed on the root of the disk, used the miflash itself and the .bat method, 14.0.1 fastboot version and 13.0.1 fastboot version and it gives always error.
BTW, thanks for your help

Do you mean installing an oficial recovery rom in twrp instead of a fastboot one?
Do you think it will overwrite the recovery?
Could i downgrade to a 13.0.3 using this method if the fastboot 14.0.1 rom has the problem?

1/Yep
2/yep
3/yep
Use the TWRP A12 to flash the rom.
To downgrade you will need to:
Twrp/wipe format data type yes/reboot Twrp flash rom.(twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.7_A12-lmi-skkk.img).

Hi Guys, My cousin just bought redmi pad from china for me with spec as folows :

Model : 22081283c
Ram : 6GB
CPU : Mediatek Helio G99
Android : 13
MIUI VERSION : 14.0.5.0(TLYCNXM)

I already unlocked this redmi pad using tools as folows:
- ROMProvider.COM_Driver_Auto_Installer_EXE_v5.1632.00_2
- miflash_unlock_en_6.6.510.37

thanks to https://forum.xda-developers.com/m/petrapas.5086748/ for his guide below :

But, I only unlock the redmi pad and i have not install magisk on it.

Now, I want to replace that chinese rom with global rom because i need google obile service and google playstore to play Clash of Clans.

Since this redmi pad is using Mediatek Helio G99, can i use miflash to replace the chinese rom with global rom ?

I already downloaded :
- MiFlash20220507
- fastboot rom yunluo_global_images_V14.0.1.0.TLYMIXM_20230407.0000.00_13.0_global_1ea914176a

waiting for reply with best regards,

I follow page 1, extract miflash at c drive. extarct fastboot rom and put the fastboot folder inside miflash folder. starts miflash.

i rename the fastboot folder to 1204

I also enable usb debugging at the developer setting.

when i select driver and tried to install, pop up warning came out.

Please advise what to do.

Just create an empty txt file of the same name in the folder .

Please note that you have left the "clean all and lock" box checked.

It worked!
With this A12 twrp version, i can succesfully install via recovery the 14.01 version (which i couldn't install using A13 twrp recovery). After that i installed via fastboot the 14.01 version with the .bat method (which i couldn't install if A13 twrp recovery was installed on the phone)
It's a very strange behaviour. I'll see if in the last major update version i can install Miui without problems.

found your post googling miflash guide
i dont know if i may post my device, redmi 9 activ, cattail, mediatek
the logs are attached
trying to downgrade to v12.0.10.0 downloaded here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/miui/cattail/
so that i can try a custom rom and this seems to be the only version that ill be able to flash them
through sp flash tool i can flash v12.0.18.0, after disabling cust
also can flash v12.5.6.0, but every boot start giving dm-verity device corrupted not trusted error and have to tap power button every time
those are the only two. trying to flash v12.0.10 through it gives STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION error

so i flashed v12.5.6.0, entered fastboot and tried to flash through miflash following your guide, bootloader unlocked, got the exact same error described in your first post, so i figured it worked, only for it to be bricked again, after many attempts of flashing either a custom rom or v12.0.10

    try to:
Do not use Miflash but the all.bat flash script included in the extracted zip folder or edit this script by deleting the lines containing ARB.
    Not the right log.
I forgot to put MIFLASH in the correct path....... Now Miflash is doing "something" XD.... i'm keep hope
    EDIT: Success flash 👍👍
    1
Without Miflash? Do you mean "fastboot flash boot" in ADB?
Nope, the phone in Fastboot and executed the script "flash all.bat" which is in the rom folder.
    1
The flash failed with "[2023-08-29 11:32:57:153:153286 518f8802]:error:Sending sparse 'super' 1/8 (721976 KB) FAILED (Error reading sparse file)" (please see attached log)

Now I cannot get it out of Fastboot mode..
    Try:
    Download this rom xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11LE_XM11Lite5GNE_V14.0.10.0.TKOCNXM_v14-
extract the folder from the zip and use the "first install" script.

    Edit:
    Fist boot takes 5/8 minutes

Thank you so much for your help - This phone owned by a friend.. The Vodafone firmware stops me getting it to root, so I know I need to get rid of it first with a stock ROM.
This rom is better than the stock rom and there is no reason to flash a stock rom afterwards, it is to unbrick the phone.
    1
turn off the phone, charge it and try again.
If still the same, try with this rom directly with the script.
    Package Name: lisa_eea_global_images_V13.0.5.0.SKOEUXM_20220124.0000.00_12.0_eea_aa1d4cc712.tgz

    FOR ALL XIAOMI

Check the box at the bottom right CLEAN ALL.

    Flash the rom.
At the end of the flash, miflash indicates an error (normal, no problem).
    error:Not catch checkpoint (\$fastboot -s .* lock),flash is not done

    the phone restarts unplug in.

Or easier one click method (which i prefer) if miflash gives some errors in flashing or installing.
Just connect phone in fastboot to pc, open fastboot rom and click on bat files to flash.

If I want to lock the bootloader (EU version) and return the phone to its stock state, then I have to select 'clean all and lock' or is there a specific reason on why selecting 'clean all'?
    select 'clean all and lock'
    (unlock or lock erase data)

    Can i re-lock the bootloader after root/Magisk ?
    Better to unroot before
