Is this even possible seeing as they are nearly the same phones besides some minor differences in ram cpu and physical aspects and of course att specific .
Just wonder of anyone has tried or knows if it's pssobke to run the minis shipped 4.2.2 in a Rom built form on the larger m7
And if in international aroma installer version could be made to work with multi carrriers specifically T-Mobile.
This is just an idea to get past 4.1.2 on our m7 and get 4.2.2 as a stock base with maybe even WiFi calling :D

Cause as it stands now all m7 variants att tmobile can flash eachothers carrier based roms besides sprint.

Yes, there are far too many differences behind the scenes.

I'm curious, can you flash a M7 Rom and use a M4 kernel? I'm thinking of this because you can install Windows or just about any Linux distro on almost any x86 computer as long as the kernel supports the hardware and you install the necessary drivers.

Very very doubtful. Different WiFi/BT rev, different kernel and ramdisk offsets, different firmware loading, different RIL (the list goes on).

This is more like a hybrid m7/htc one xl than anything thus far.

The more important differentiator is that the mini is an 8930 dual core and the m7 is an apq8064 quad core. Both fall under the msm8960 family...but different SoCs and some different hardware.
