Hey guys, the camera app seems to have video stabilizer on by default (or is it just me?). As far as I know, video stabilization is done by software on our devices, thus eating a decent chunk of CPU power. Is there any way to turn it off?

And while we're at it, mike said metering support was added, yet it's nowhere to be found on the camera app. Should I switch to a 3rd party camera app in order to set metering modes?

Hi,

First of all thanks for some great work on this ROM!
I found small bug, when you click on fast reply in sms notification "Fn" key has different behavior - once you press it it stays pressed until next pressing "Fn" - in the rest places we must hold "Fn" to use alternative functions.

FM radio ? ..

Hi , thanks its quite a great rom , you seem to finaly release this rom for its final update that will not probebly support fm radio , my request is that if some day you found a way to make it work on newest versions would you please apply it on this one , or if not would you please release it supporting fm radio ( know that it will take a long time of hard work , but still fm radio is a great feature :) ) ?

If you don't know what to do, don't spam here in developer forum, but head to the Q&A section and find guide thread, there are many of them. I really dunno why new memebers ask first in dev threads...

I have couple of doubts
1. Is the offline dictation gone... Its missing the offline dictionary download

2. And due to that with the new Google search update that "okay Google" doesn't work that's disappointing..

3. Lastly is there anyway to get it back.. I want it please

Hey! Thanks for this great ROM too. Which one has better battery consumption, CM10.1 or CM10.2? CM10.2's is still quite bad I know, I used that for some weeks, but after this night, I saw that CM10.1 also consumed 3,1%/h with only wifi ON, which is not so good. :-/ So, only from this POV, CM10 is still the best (after the stock 4.0.4) ROM?

Could you explain me something about kernel/wifi related? If wi fi modules are integrated into ramdisk, how come theres never wifi on other 4.2.2 based roms? I've tried movin system/lib/modules,but i never get wifi working.

If you use the kernel from inside the ROM .zip file, you don't have to install any modules, as these are already installed in the ROM.
If you use any other kernel, you must use modules for that kernel. Where to get them, depends on the kernel.

This is an unofficial build of CM10.1.
This is an attempt to stay close to official cm10.1 and not make crazy hacks to make things working.

This is a pure CM build, only contains official CM features. I will not add any other external feature/app/etc.

    Requirements:
    * Only use the included kernel for 100% compatibility, bug reports with non-standard kernel will be ignored.

    Installation instructions:
    1. Flash boot.img (in the zip) with fastboot or FlashTool
    2. Install update zip in CWM recovery
    3. Install Google Apps (gapps) zip in CWM recovery (this step is optional for those who don't want Google Apps)
    4. Wipe data (do this only if you come from stock ics, a newer version of android like cm-10.2 or if you have problems like Force Close after installation)

Any discussions about battery life, general questions, such as, "will this app work with this ROM", "thanks", "+1" and any other non-development related questions and topics should be done in the Q&A thread.

I am locking the development threads for 1 day so most people can read the new rules above.

I am locking the CM10.1 threads as it has come to End Of Life and I cannot support so many threads.
Last build is not released yet, I will release it after some more bugs are fixed in the near future.

Any future news & discussion should go to the CM10.1 LegacyXperia Q&A thread
