I don´t know if this helps or if it is already known, but I´m using your build 20130416 with nAa´s 3.0.8 Kernel and just noticed that the 4.2 camera
is functional concerning taking pictures and videos, it seems that only the camera preview is broken (black screen)...

I was just surprised that the videos and pictures were taken correctly, as I thought 4.2 camery was completely broken without new libs.

The rom is Stable, i'm using the Shufuking rom, is perfect, only small bug's, but with this new port and new Kernel, will be perfect.

Camera 4.2

Since new 3.0.8 kernel, camera 4.2 works then I search on other threads other apps to test.
I found in this thread an excellent and very complete Camera 4.2 app:
Much more settings, focus fix/auto/continuous/face detector,... :good:
I flashed V1 for CM10.1 and all works fine!
Nice sharp pictures and videos, galery ok, and here camera and panorama work too!
except that I have black screen in capture mode
May be a very very stupid remark or question, but you can't ported this camera 4.2 app?

In fact I was wrong about panorama, seems not working.
But pictures capture works really well!
Our camera 4.2 use continuous focus and doesn't give a good sharpness (I noted too some FC)...
In this camera 4.2, we have auto mode much better and frendly battery drain.
In addition there are many capture modes that all work fine! (face detect, face priority, fixed, infinity, macro, portrait)
Many scene mode too: HDR, auto, night portrait, party, landscape, sports, portrait, snow, barcode.
All features and modes work, no FC (except HDR if continuous focus mode not selected)
Video mode works fine, standard features but with significant improved noise level! :good:
I think, with new kernel gain, that we can consider test again and may be going back to 720p
Same without panorama, I dream of having THIS camera 4.2 features to film and take pictures 4.2 (easier to forget Sony camera)
It would be great if you can do something...

There are still some problems with BT, I'm waiting for pcfighter to check his source again.

PS: Don't send me useless PMs asking for ETA/progress, they will be ignored. After all you are in a DEV thread.

EDIT: BT is working, just tested send & receive between my smultron & my old x10 mini
