@remidem storage is by default encrypted, only if you formatted internal storage in twrp before rom install (you have to confirm with 'yes' in twrp) your storage is decrypted.

I'm still on NXT-L29C432560, just can't seem to update.
I've managed to get the download working yesterday with this tutorial, but it failed at about 75%.

Today i tried again, but now there's no update showing in the Huawei update app at all. Yesterday there was the 796 Mb partial update the system itself offered and the update i choose in Firmware Finder. I remember the download was in 2 'patches' before it failed.
Deleting the HWFF en HWOUC folders did not help.

I just don't know how to get on 581 anymore.
My Mate is rooted (SuperSU 2.82) , twrp (3.0.3.0) installed, decrypted.

A little help would be much appreciated...i'm lost...still....

I only have made these 2 steps and now I've an update which is proposed to me. I'm rooted with TWRP, so maybe all this tuto is unecessary, like you can see on the screenshots below.

However I think if I have to make this update, I should install the stock recovery and remove the root by caution.

I think I'll test it this week-end to avoid all issues with my phone in the week, because I need to have a functional phone in this week.
If all works, I'll come back here to report it.

Hi,
following the lead coming to the point 5 but then I can not find the update. I have a Mate 8 NXT-L29C432B192 and unlocked bootloader.
What can I do?
