Hello all i've installed Minimoto v1.7 XT862/XT860 in a Milestone 3 (xt860, personal, argentina) in safestrap and everything went fine.
The problem is i've lost 3g.
It's seems the rom lacks the baseband radio for personal argentina and no internet connection can be established.
It's not an APN issue, tried to load them manually, imported from the stock rom but doesn't work.
Anyone has a way to add basebands (or modify the USA band that only comes with the rom).
The rom works fluid and is very light and the battery is awesome (i cannot tell 3g because never worked, only wifi) but the battery last at least 24 hours using 8-10 hours of wifi aprox.

Thanks in advance

You should look around the mini moto forum in the development category. It involves flashing a different radio and different build.prop

Try this:

Also try this:

Make those changes to the build.prop file in the system folder of the minimoto rom, copy the 'new' minimoto zip to your phone, wipe and reflash. That worked for me.

Sure its not an APN issue? Have you tried tried mannualy typing in the APN and username and password for your provider? I have Minimoto on a GSM network and it didn't work at first either but then I just added the right APN values that I looked up on the internet for my provider and then it worked.

Hi,

All you have to do is install minimoto for the xt860, it's in the OP in the minimoto thread. Then, having wifi turned on, install HiAPN (it's an app to automatically set apn's) from Google Play. Use it to set your apn and you're good to go. I'm using it just fine on Movistar Argentina.

Saludos ;)
