I couldn't get this to work after 3 days



I've never been unable to achieve so something is up here....



Found another way using magisk and will be deleting these files...

I'm disappointed that people tried to help you out @adampollack and you post a cryptic response to somebody who asked for help.

SMH - I wish people weren't so selfish. I have looked for such a solution for awhile.

If I do find another solution, I will gladly post it to all who need help. The Frida solution doesn't seem to work for me due to Android 10s dm-verity.

Nobody helped me to be honest. That's my entire frustration....

Search netflix on magisk and you'll find it. That's all I did.... Was not trying to be cryptic.

Hi there, it worked for me on the first time. Why.. i started with a clean phone. Rooted it and did what was written carefully.

Your phone can be full with allot of crap.

Full immersive mode hides both navigation buttons ( if your phone has them ) and status bar. One of the options only hides navigation. The menu in aa mirror is self explanatory.

HELP

i have Xiaomi redmi note 6pro (global version)-android 9 mobile phone , it's root - Magisk manager.
one year i used on Android Auto via AAmirror apk and CarStream apk unlocked via AA Penotype patcher video and everything from mobile phones (pictures,aplications,web....)
was working on a car device.
sometimes image or video transfer apps would stop working on the car or it would not work touch screen
and he would solve that by changing it AA mirror apk in AAmod2 or AAmirror debug etc.
there are 15 days no way i do AAmirror and CarStream in car device. I've changed multiple versions Android Auto ; CarStream 2.0.0 , 2.0.1 , 2.0.2 , 2.0.3 , 2.0.4 ; AAmirror,AAmiror.mod 2,AAmiror-debug,AAmirror plus,Mirror screen ; AA Unlock ; Phenotype patch 0.7,0.8,0.85 ......
and nothing works. there are no AAmirror and CarStream apps on the car screen. when i set up apps on my mobilephone i enter them in settings i put all permissions (in android auto and
developer settings and
unknown sources too) i run them over Phenotype petcher , petcher give superuser right, reboot mobile phone........go to car
I connect usb ,open android auto in display and nothing , no aamirror and carstream apk in car device!
now i installed this new app Screen2auto,
performed all the procedures as written and again no AAmirror and AA CarStream apk in car device (
normally before installation I deleted all old data). please help !!!!!!!!!!!!! what can i do to make it work for me again AAmirror and CarStream in mobile phone to car device !!!!!!?????? p.s. now he's on the mob installed, updated and running : android auto 5.1.00643 (
i tried several versions) , carstream 2.0.1 , phenotype patch 0.85 , screen2auto (MagiskManager and Root Checker too)

Hello, I am testing Screen2Auto version 2.6 and I have also used AAMirror, I have a Moto g7plus with Android 9 and AA 5.3, they work well, however I have a small problem, I cannot see Netflix or Amazon Video, when I put a video, the screen it turns black, only the image, the rest remain active, in the old version of AA I had no problem, but when install past versions it does not work for me in the car, any recommendation to solve it, thanks.

My samsung galaxy s6 had the same problem after i mirrored the phone using AAmirror and AAunlock. The phone screen had black bars around it, and i fixed it with screen shift app.

I use S6Edge too. How set the app that working perfectly in full screen mode?
I know that the S6Edge mobile resolution is 1440x2560 and the resolution of the 8-Inch Sync3 display 800 x 480.

Anybody have a way to change the pixel density on Android Auto screen? I know that with the Desktop Head Unit, one can specify the dpi. I would like to mimic this information on my Android auto car screen.

I suspect you installed the canary channel magisk. You need to use version 20.4 (stable channel).
