going to be back in my office tomorrow so should be able to upload it then (given I finally get this to a standard I think is suitable for testing standards, which will hopefully be by wednesday)

changing a few more things to see if they help with the boot process, if anyone gets any errors from the next ROM (B1.0.02) then you should just have to flash the new boot.img and that should hopefully be it.

meaning any patches after the link for 1.0.02 has been provided

yeah I do, I just didnt have the time to test it until I got back from my first trip

testing screen resolutions (dpi of 100 gives you more tiles for apps but feel free to change that at your will however disables keyboard functionality) and the use of heavily modified kernels (giveen will probably hit me for not using snargledorf's kernel)

I was curious how resolution would work out on the large screen... my only experience with miui was pre ics on an og evo. I tended to use alternative launchers cuz I wasn't a fanboy of the lack of an app drawer. More screen space on a tab sounds like it would alleviate that for me though. I know you prefer the thanks button so I will give some clicks, but it still needs to be said, you, snag, manii and for the mean time giveen are much appreciated for this device not dying.

how much would I have to change in the boot.img for it to work correctly or is it pretty much the same just cleaner code and no dependancies removed?

Compile kernel it will output zImage . Put that in new boot.img

Sorry for the long wait on some work on this, had issues with the test device going into read-only (fixed now, will include fix for that later in another thread) then had a huge realization dawn on me about where I was going wrong with the development of this ROM, end result being follow this closely cause I am gonna have fixes as soon as giveen or snagledorf do.. note this is still WIP so any help with resolving this would be great

framework being rebuilt as I didnt like how it handled... should see this ready sometime over the weekend, camera still isnt working and wont be for a very long time

I've been looking at some theme options. Being ICS v4 and all, I think ICS and I think typical holo style. MIUI is so versatile on theming options, I think it is end user decision to chose a theme to their liking.

Otherwise.... this is your work man, and greatly appreciated! I am sort of wanting to see your style?! What you'd run!? Make the ROM your own! And please be so gracious to share it with us

I suggest initial release with the stock theme. Want to include a few options to switch too?(with permission from original themers needed???)

I myself prefer an inverted style to my apps. Dark with an ICS blue and white. I tend to change all my devices to run a similar layout... I always use inverted gapps on my Gnex. So in that regard I recommend(or request)

Also, like the icons a lot in a theme called ECHO

there will be the stock MIUI theme, the iOS styled one (and a dark one for those who are apple fanbois), a few dark themed ones (cant remember the names but there will be a few put in) and maybe one I intend on making (expect a blood red and black theme, maybe a neon green, black and HC blue and black)

portrait for most (unfortunately) but I will be working on landscaping what I have, a themeless stock variant will be released first, after that I will include themes

Haven't been able to do much work with this over the weekend with the new server arriving and some family issues, might have the next build up tomorrow night at the earliest (there is still a lot of work to be done, but I am looking at getting this up and running for a few people to try out this week)
