Really weird problem on my phone. Not getting alarms in the morning. I almost missed my morning classes because of this. I tried to do 5 min alarm and it works but the screen DOESN'T light up and I have to use the power button or the fingerprint sensor to unlock the screen.

This is REALLY REALLY important to me. Any help to fix this will be greatly appreciated.

I'm on MIUI 10 stable EU debloated with extreme debloat provided here (Edited the file to not include MIUI phone app, dual apps and second space )

I too get the invalid file. What version of Terminal debloater should I download from the first page. Also, Can I remove some of the things from the debloat file if I don't want them removed?

Did you remove the clock app? Maybe download the Google's Clock app from play store and make it a system priv app?

Just download the module from Magisk Manager and the new config files from OP. Yes, You can remove few apps from config if you need them.

No I didn't remove clock and finally its working after I did a lot of things. Don't know what exactly fixed it but at least it's working now.

And btw what are the apps/ services required to keep the stock messaging app working. I tried to not include the MMS service and the app. The app remains in the installed apps and appears in the app drawer. But force stops whenever I open it.

Yeah, You are better off using Google Messages or any open source sms client from Fdroid but Basic debloating shouldn't break SMS app?

I used extreme debloating but didn't include the two services that are responsible for dual apps and second space , and the phone dialler.
As the stock message app is integrated in the calling ui I need it to send messages quickly with one tap on the calling app.
So how can I get it back i.e, what are the services/ apps responsible for its working.
✌

Just use basic debloating file. If I recall it correctly- Joyose and RTMIcloudengine would cause that.

Or

Use the patched Google Dialer which would also replace the MIUi dialer.

Restored both of these except that there was no app/ service with the name RTMicloudengine. Instead I found RTMicloudSDK. Restored them along with MMS and message services. But the messaging app is still force closing.

Is there a way to get back certain system apps that you previously removed? Debloated too much and I guess now I can't unlock the bootloader because of the missing micloud app.

I don't know if it's gonna help you with unlocking bootloader. But you can reinstall the apps using debloat from terminal emulator. There's an option provided there. I reinstalled some myself.

I did the extreme debloat. Poco launcher didn't start anymore. The screen just said; just a moment.

Anyway rollback is quite easy and painless. I you follow the steps in OP. You would do just fine.

I just tried the basic debloat on MIUI EU 8.12.13 weekly; it works perfectly!

I think deep debloat is too invasive. It means you got to have tons of alternative apps installed to make the smartphono functional again (browser, launcher, gallery, etc).

How did you follow this method without unlocking bootloader ? Uff
Hello Dev...
I am running latest miui eu beta... Can you tell me please why when I try to import my personal import-debloat.txt I get the error invalid file.
I just edit your file by removing the apps that I want and Leave the ones that I want to delete.
See the attached file.

Thanks in advance
