dual space is not working for me with Android 10. At least my games are not starting, Spotify and Amazon are working, I couldn´t figure out why :(

Hi !
Just downloaded and installed the new "stable" MIUI 11.0.4 version(OTA) yesterday and my phone is just unusable. I keep loosing 4G. I have to change the favourite network from 4G to 3G and then instantly back to 4G to be able to catch some 4G for a minute or less.

I manually updated my APN and tried the *#*#4636#*#* thing and selected the automatic option but nothing is working for more than one minute.
I am very disappointed by this version of MIUI, I am going to try to rollback to MIUI 10 but if I do not find a fix this is obviously the last Xiaomi phone that I will buy ^^ (I am on a POCCOPHONE F1).

Cheers,

Ping

If you are sure that you have good 4G signal at your area, then go to About Phone, All specs, go to Internal storage and press 3 times continuously and then go to your desired sim (if you have two sim together, then be careful that choose phone index 0 for sim 1 and phone index 1 for sim 2) then choose LTE only mode for fixed 4G (note that this will drain your battery if you have weak 4G coverage at your area)

Thank you for your advice, I already tried the LTE only mode but it didn't work. Also, I identified more precisely my problem:
I lose network connection as soon as the network is inactive (e.g if I do not download anything). I was able to download the MIUI 10 ROM (2.5gb) without any problem but ten seconds after the download I lost connexion. I tried again with a smaller file and the same conclusion.

So it seems that I got disconnected from the network (4G or any other type of phone connexion) if I am not doing anything specific and that the only way to reconnect to the network is by switching manually from 4G to another type of connection and then back to 4G.

It is very strange ...

Thanks for your help

Just called my mobile phone network provider and they told me that there is a problem with the network and they are trying to solve it. The combination of this problem with the MIUI 11 update made me think that it was coming from this but apparently it is not ! Thanks for your help

Where you able to find any solution?

I received OTA update for this "stable" ROM

First I was happy because because it's Android 10 based & the dark mode but there are VERY big issues for a "stable" ROM:

- (strong) Wi-Fi signal disconnection every few minutes (phone almost unusable)
- random reboot
- freeze (but doesn't reboot and I must long press to reboot manually)
- needed to reinstall few apps (Viber, Android System Webview,...)

cleaned all db and data with a cleaner & rebooted several times with no luck

I've updated manually (not OTA this time) to 11.0.6 with feb. security patch (found a zip hosted at MIUI) and 48 hours later I'm happy to tell you that it fixed my major issues (crash/reboot/lost of config/mock location). One thing that is still not working 100% fine is that I keep losing a strong Wi-Fi signal (very annoying if I try to download a file and that there is no resume option).
