Format data in TWRP and confirm with YES. Don't wipe, just format data. Boot into Fastboot. Copy rom to internal storage or use USB OTG. Then install rom. Helped me, no guarantee.

I had already tried Magisk, not worked. By the way I am using Jio simcard in 1st slot, I use only one sim. I have one more surprize with this ROM, there is no option to restore the backup. We can only take backup but we cant restore. This is really very strange.
I'd suggest doing a clean install of the latest version xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9LiteMICC9_20.5.14_v12-10 : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261810041

It's not final it's Beta :) ... And i hate the new quicksettings
Btw. What ist the dev.-code If i click fast in MIUI Logo??
You can switch off this and go back to the old one. Go to settings/Always on Display/ Then you can search there is an option.
By the way did you check if banking apps are working? I used it for couple weeks and went back to MIUI11 because in MIUI12 banking apps like Phonepe, Google pay and iMobile not able to recognize the simcard for sms verification.

Did anyone try if banking apps like Phonepe, Google pay, and iMobile are working in MIUI12?

For me (in Croatia) on both MIUI12 .21, and .28 versions (dirty updated over .21 version) all banking and Google Pay (tried it - NFC in store) apps worked without problem.

Install our ROM
Reboot

I tried but it doesnt worked, so, i finally find out, i had not disabled force file encryption, so i did it after, and it worked !

But now i got another issues, my google play doesnt want to DL apps, always "Waiting for download.." on screen.
I tried everything i saw on the net, Clear cache and data of GPlay, cut uptdate, install it manually, tried with and without Wifi, reboot phone.. It worked on Miui 11 so, i don't know if it's only a Miui 12 issue :(

In this MIUI 12 did they fix being able to swipe left to dismiss notifications? Or do you still have to swipe right to do this? Android Q stock is meant to add option in notification settings to chose either direction but on my MI 9 Lite running 11.0.1 I can only swipe right to dismiss.

Just installed the latest xiaomi eu version based on miui 12 stable.
Install process
Fairly straightforward. I had xiaomi.eu stable based on miui 11 previously. Downloaded the latest zip onto my device and dirty flashed in TWRP. No dramas.
Apps
So far everything seems to work fine. Banking apps work, L1 certification in Netflix.
In terms of new apps, you will see app icons for the new super wallpapers (review on that later).
Animations
Animations were a little slow at first due to super wallpaper (seemed a bit gimmicky in the first place). After switching to a different wallpaper, animations were smooth again.
Notification drawer
Personally don't mind the new iOS like control center, but prefer the original notification drawer as it was easier to see everything in one place.
Overall feel
Overall not that much different from miui 11. Most xiaomi apps have been slightly simplified (camera app, phone app), but more or less the same as before.
Battery
As for battery life, right now it is too early to tell. I'm expecting it to be more or less the same as MIUI 11.
Bugs
Nothing I can notice so far that is a deal breaker. Will have to observe in the next few days to find out.

I have installed MIUI 12 EU STABLE and I have got next conclusions:
I had installed the latest MIUI 11 stable and I did not have any problem with speed and battery however lastly I had issues, for examplerandom reboots so I needed to try another version of ROM to know if the problem was caused for ROM.
I don't like animations from miui 12, many frames are missing (not the problem caused by live wallpaper) and scroll is not too good. In my opinion MIUI 11 is winner in this topic.
Battery in MIUI 11 was too good,it did about 8/10 SOT in 1,5 or 2 days of use. In miui 12 the consumptions with the first chargue were 6:30 SOT in 25 hours of use.
I will continue with miui 12 to test why reboots happened in my phone.
For now, I think miui 12 is more hype than another thing. It has to improve much to become like miui 11 in its last version.

For those with battery issues, you can try following the steps provided here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f2-pro/how-to/improving-battery-life-miui-12-t4139913
I ran the following command and found my phone has been running a bit better on standby.
2. make an apps optimization
Code:
adb shell cmd package bg-dexopt-job
Edit: Seems like my issue was related to my phone unable to transition to deep sleep/doze. You can see if this issue affects your device as well by heading to the battery usage statistics and selecting "details" in the dropdown
Update 1: It's been about more than 24hrs since this tweak and my battery usage has improved significantly. It about the same or even better than miui 11.

It's been around a month since I've used miui 12 on my phone and here are my thoughts:

Positives:
- Battery has been surprisingly good
- Enhanced privacy features
- Improved multitasking (not sure if same as miui 11)

Negatives:
- Text is too thin by default
- Charging animation sometimes doesn't appear
- Battery usage app only shows last 24 hours
- Animation still not as smooth as MIUI 11
- Minor UI bugs in certain apps
- Certain UI elements (settings app) are too big and looks ridiculous

Neutral:
- Control center
- New fast charging icon

Can I format and wipe everything to change from custom rom to this?

Fingerprint accuraccy is terrible on custom roms, camera quality is worse, wake on rise does not work.

I can just format/wipe and flash this like it's a new rom, right?
