This first build is for test only, I suggest it for experienced users!
Not tested on prime and on the x version, but should work.
Stable build is coming soon.
I collected the best features for a miui rom, and now I want to share them. I hope u will enjoy it.
Features
- some modified icons, and many more for the 3rd parties - more than 12000 miui styled icon!!!
- camera2api enabled
- added many new functions to default miui camera, (for example manual focus and exposure time, model mode etc.)
- fixed phone shurtcut on lockscreen
- debloated (I removed almost all the apps that are not needed for the bootup and the basic functions. It means amazing battery life)
- advanced reboot menu
- better core control (coming in stable build)
- more display mode (will be removed in stable build, now available using quick shurtcut maker only, by creating widget for settings app)
removed search box from the notification bar (coming in stable build) - removed search box from the notification bar (coming in stable build)
- better signal icons (maybe coming in stable build)
- xperia keyboard
- in-built adblocking (coming in stable build)
- center clock mod (maybe coming with stable build, tell me if you want it)
- 5x5 quick settings layout
- removed google and mi account apps, don't instal gapps back, because it kills this rom's amazing battery life (instal Yalp store instead, it downloads apps from google play's server, but doesn't consume battery and doesn't steal your data. It will be included by default in stable build.)
I suggest to install greenify and an app hibernation app (u can hibernate themes app, mi services app for even better battery life)
How to install
I upload the rom as a twrp backup, because the debloating made the first setup impossible with zipU must have at least one backup in twrp, because it create the folder xxxx(depends on device)!!!
- unpack the zip
- go to /sdcard/twrp/backups/xxxx(depends on device)/
- or if u use sd as twrp backup storage go to /sdcard1/twrp/backups/xxxx(depends on device)/
- create a folder here, called rexmi
- put the contents of the zip here (files called system.xxx, data.xxx, etc)
- update to the latest miui for the firmware
- boot it up, to see if the installation is correct
- clean data, system and cache partitions
- reboot to twrp and restore the backup u put into the storage in the first steps
