how to reduce icon size and .how to make home page as default view

for making a Home page default :

Pinch any home screen using 3 finders to display the home screen thumbnails.
Tap the "Home Icon" at the bottom on the home you want to make default.

For icon size reduction :

Using ES File Explorer
Enable root
Enable R/W
Navigate to /device/system
Scroll down, tap on build.prop and select ES Note Editor from the list to open the text file.
Tap the pencil icon to edit the file and scroll down until you see the following entry: ro.sf.lcd_density=320
Change the density to 290
Reboot.
using the above steps i was able to reduce the icon size. But the space between 2 icons increases, which i am not able to reduce.

I am facing a problem... flashed miui 6 and was using in my yureka... but media server problem then I came to know there is miui 7 6.2.18 downloaded it and followed same procedure and installed my its not booting into rom stucks in yu logo... I tried to install miui 6 again... and done perfectly any one can help me to install miui 7 please...

That is normal. The ROM displays the yu logo for quite some time. Wait for 20-30 minutes for boot to finish & then enjoy!!!

in all MIUI rom there is an option for showing contact name against number displayed in messages like missed call number.but it cannot seen in other cm or android rom.if any option for display this contact name in this rom

Hello Anna, data is still not working with v6.3.17. Apart from heating issue. I guess Data works but the data strength is very week.

Please let me know what logs you need so that I can send them to you for better resolution.
