Warning this only works on xt1556 and xt1557
This is based on miui patchrom and is the first build so don't expect it to be super snappy , though it works pretty well .

What's Working

• ril
• wifi
• boots
• themes

What's Not

• The sim card doesn't show , though the sim card actually works || [to fix it just tap power button twice, thank @Rahul1608 for this]
• The quick ball works but cannot be customized
• you tell me

Installation
*requires the bootloader to be unlocked and a custom recovery

1. Place rom in your external sd card
2. No need for gapps
3. reboot to recovery
4. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
5. Wipe Dalvik cache
6. Proceed to flash rom zip file
7. boot

Voila!! now you will see the miui bootlogo ! The first boot may take some time .

ans- No , no need to flash gapps.

For sim card indication press the power button twice and phone will undergo a small system ui restart. Then it will show. It worked on my osprey .

i found some bugs

Found some bugs
1) scanner bug where it force stops when its set to scan business cards and never opens until we clear the app data
2)mobile hotspot bug it shows the network open even after setting it to wpa2 psk it doesn't encrypt the network shows it as open network
3) nav keys doesn't hide on most of the apps ,it sticks to the side just gets transparent
4) ambient display doesn't work /gestures in stock settings but the chop chop and double twist works
5) double tab to wake up doesn't work/stock settings
and one last thing how to root this rom?

Ambient display isn't there because Miui doesn't natively have support for it
