how change languaje on twrp for nougat?
If you have the version in Chinese, just tap the box second one up on the right hand side and then you should see the globe, change language here and then click on the box at the bottom to confirm.

Worst case click each box until you see the globe in one of the tabs at the top, if not just click the home button at the bottom to go back to main menu !

To be honest I haven't tried any builds for the last week or so after using the beta, mostly because I have locked the bootloader with this beta release and haven't had time to start over again with the original fastboot rom and unlock and start from fresh but the last couple of builds that I tried the menu and home buttons stopped working after flashing open gapps pico , it could be an issue with gapps and not the rom as it only happened after flashing gapps and the few minutes of use before I flashed was OK but I didn't stick with it long enough to figure it out really.

Other issues were minor, random reboots on early builds, poor battery life when compared to MIUI or TS's CM13.1, and I also have an app for clocking in to work which would just force close ( the app has been update by the dev and had nothing to do with the rom though, ) Other issues with the camera quality, video record not working and play store just not opening.

Mostly I like the rom but after things I needed to work just did not I lost interest and didn't go back to it but I am always flashing and as soon as I get a free day will try it again along with most of the other roms available !
if you have issue with capacitive buttons not working after restart it has simple solution, go to settings/buttons and enable and immediately disable on screen navbar which will reset the setting for physical buttons and they will work just fine, at least this worked for me

The nav bar has never been activated, always disabled. Seems to be connected to the gapps flash somehow, as they were working on the first boot while I went through all the settings and then after flashing gapps the home button didn't work !!

I do need to try a different gapps package admittedly, along with a more recent build and see if it works !

I did a downgrade to 6.1.7 fastboot, and then update to 7.1.20 beta.

Once the bootloader is locked fastboot flash I don't think works you need to first give the command 'fastboot oem edl' this will go from fastboot to a black screen, then click refresh in miflash and it will recognize COMxx instead of fastboot device number and then you can flash back to 6.1.7

In saying this it will still lock your bootloader once you flash 7.1.20.

You can try this though, found on 4pda a modified version of 7.1.20 with a new TWRP ( if you can ignore the Russian letter in a couple of screen it is really good )
Flash first the rom and directly after it finishes flash the TWRP.img file ( DO NOT do it after the reboot otherwise you have no recovery and still locked bootloader ) doing it this way gives you recovery with a locked bootloader but you can still get to recovery to format all partitions and flash to other roms too !!!!

Yesterday I flashed 7.1.20 & I can say that everything is same as 5.1 ROM, nothing is changed, no new features. I was expected something new, but Nougat ROM is identical to Lollipop ROM
