Here's how you achieve OMS level black theming with MIUI 9

Use any of : EU, Globe or Epic ROM
Magisk v14 installed - core modules only

MIUI theme: Use Black Zone OR Black Eagle Light
MIUI Lock Screen (see gif) - Star Track theme for Mi Mix 2
Font: Samsung S8 Regular

Install substratum app from play store
Substratum theme: I used Swift Black

Note: Do not select "Android System", "Settings" and "SystemUI" for theming using substratum. And restart immediately after applying to avoid bootloops

Nova launcher weather widget.. the weather inside can be enabled through the labs menu. Labs menu shows up when you long press volume down in Nova settings page
