I've installed the rom of the 1st post, it works fine but only 3 languages, english included. It seems based on aosp, there isn't any spen function nor google. Now I'll try the multilingual version, I want spanish. The bad thing is that with roms like dn 5.2, with note 3 and s5 features, this kind of roms loses functionality.

Hiya guys,

There is some confusion about all the different 4.4 MIUI Roms so I will shine some light on the situation.

Every week MIUI brings out another update of their ROM. Usually each Friday. After that some developers create their own version, usually based on CM.

As is the case with the N7100. The official ROM is based on Samsung's android 4.1. And the developer Mdairy has created his own android 4.4 version based on CM. Before this week he created his own version on android 4.2 but apparently he made a switch to 4.4.

Well, then there is Miuiandroid.com who takes those ROMS (official and developers) and makes it multi language (with some minor tweaks). Also brings out their new versions every Friday.

So bottom line, there is only one MIUI android 4.4 version around.

tried forcing a reboot??
did a clean flash??

avoid flashing gapps along with the rom.. Let it boot and see..!
I tried two times:

Used TWRP: Wiped cache, dalvik, system, data and internal SD. After that only flashed your linked ROM, wiped cache and dalvik again (I know it is unneccesary) and tried to reboot. After 10 minutes on " bootanimation" (No real animation going on) I went back to TWRP and tried again.

The builds from mega do not have this android.phone FC, i've tried taking the phone.apk from there but then i had FC on com.android.acore..

I'll just wait for next build.

I gonna wait for next friday, i have send a error report so hope they will fix it ;)
I love miui when i had it on the galaxy S (1), so i hope to get it working on the note 2.
Next thing i gonna try is to get it on 240dpi with WSM tools (xploded version for miui)

So, I have been testing this ROM further and here are the bugs I encountered:

1. Obviously mobile data gives a [com.android.phone] FC
2. GPS is not working (in my area, the Netherlands)
3. the "Airplane mode" in the notification bar is not working.

So, I am thinking... can all this be kernel related? Like, if I would flash a MIUI-compatible custom kernel, would that solve the bad drivers?
Also, I think the drivers from N7105 have been used in this ROM.

On the other side, I am definitely not a developer so it is allowed to laugh at my comments if they sound stupid.

as its cm 11 based rom so other aosp kernels like plasma devil and agni should work

Stuck on boot screen can anyone help me with steps to follow..
If you get stuck at bootscreen you need to remove battery and let it boot again. It will boot that second time.

Alternatively all I did is hold the power button for 5 seconds but removal of the battery is recommended (by me).
