Hi All,
Might be late to the party on this one but I thought I'd quickly share that the MIUI 8.5 stable builds for Aqua and Libra (Mi4S and Mi4C) are out on Xiaomi.eu as of a couple of weeks ago.
Links here -
Aqua: DOWNLOAD
Libra: DOWNLOAD
These are both based on 7.0 and as I've only flashed it on my Aqua this morning it's too early to give any real thoughts on them, but one thing I can say so far is damn it runs cool. Really nice for that!
If everyone already knows, then ignore. If not, try it out and enjoy!
My flashing process went as follows (coming from LOS14). Not necessarily the best process, but worked perfectly for me.
1. Flash android 5.1.1 dev build via MiFlash (the ones that allow for unofficial bootloader unlocking)
1a. Downloads for the aforementioned dev builds available here - AQUA - LIBRA
2. Unlock bootloader
3. Install Kumajaya TWRP (DOWNLOAD)
4. Wipe all partitions except system
5. Move stable build (linked above) to internal storage and flash through TWRP
Note, installing will re-lock your bootloader but this shouldn't be a big deal. If you want to unlock it again, the steps above will walk you through it.
Enjoy
