iriijo, I must say that this is the smoothest Xperia Ray ROM I've seen so far, but something worries me: where are the superuser/security settings?

EDIT: Never mind, the Security icon didn't show up on the first boot for some reason. Rebooted and all is well.

Hmm, it seems that all is not well. Even when Superuser Permissions are set to "on", and apps that require root access (Titanium Backup, Root Browser, etc) are granted them when the request dialog pops up, they are still failing silently.

Any idea how do I solve this issue? Thanks.

I think I've managed to solve my own problem. The issue is, I'm guessing, that apps can request SU permissions but the system isn't replying to the requests for some reason, even though the su binary is present. The solution is to download the zip from here and flash it via recovery. After rebooting you'll have the Superuser app, which will handle SU requests like in other ROMs instead of the default Security app. But hopefully the OP will release a fix soon so this workaround is no longer needed.

This is really the best ROM I've seen for Ray so far, every feature working smoothly and without bugs, I'm almost getting scared that it's actually just Gingerbread underneath instead of ICS lol.

The next version is full compatible with the cyanogenmod 9 ics kernel from FXP without recompiling!!! DD

Cool. Will you still be packing boot.img with your ROM though? So we don't have to download almost 100MB of CM9 just for the kernel. Thanks.

Flashed the new ROM, everything's working well so far. Noticed that the disappearing browser toolbar issue was fixed, nice.

A question, though: do you intend to fix the root issue as described in #47, or is this ROM not pre-rooted by design?

Minor bug report: there's now two music apps, both the stock Android music app and the MIUI one, and ergo two "Music" icons on the launcher.

You can use Titanium Backup to remove one of them, though.

MortenR, have you tried flashing the baseband 64 ftf file and seeing if that fixes problem #1?
