well I have installed all Google Apps.. it's working fine for me.. And I restored backup from MI cloud.. you should try latest Google service app.. may b it'll install

I just recently used Open GAPPS Pico for MIUI 7 MM. They worked fine except some GPS permission was missing. So for that you have to convert Google Play Services to user app and grant permissions from security app. That will do. And use latest gapps
