Very unlikely that bigota.d.miui.com offer fakes. Can't find any official thread or OTA updates notification. Probably a fake ROM or original MIUI 9.
Not sure why but my update button is not workingIf you install latest China dev it updates you to MIUI10 China Dev ROM.

Oh, you were another guy..The Link is in the first post.. Srsly..
Yeah.. Logged in with my old MIUI account. Already unlocked my Mi6 1 year ago. According to the Unlock tool I need 720hours, because when you "paired" the device after 31. August it is 720hours now (before it was 360hours or sth).Could be due to my recovery..
But..Are u logged on to mi account?
http://www.miui.com/download-349.html although Xiaomi eu is already out: https://miui.g3d.codes/8.9.6/ last item. From where did you get the dev version? I dont want to wait a fuking month to install xiaomi.eu ROM.. That is sooo annoying.
I installed MIUI9 China dev instead of the OP´s link and it updates to MIUI 10..Then I dont understand what you meant here:
"If you install latest China dev it updates you to MIUI10 China Dev ROM"
The Link int the first post is MIUI10 beta ROM, not MIUI9.. Or is there a newer update out there? Is that what you meant?
I had to wait 15 for mine. You need unlocked bootloader for any other ROM: dev or Xiaomi.eu.Yeah, but for xiaomi.eu I need unlocked BL, which needs ****ing 30days.. So I dont even know what todo with it now.. :/
I think I'm super lucky - I applied for BL unlock years ago to fix a relative's Redmi Note 3. I haven't received my Mi Pad 4 yet, but when I go to the site and login, unlock takes me straight to the page so I appear to be already authorised. And ditto for when I run the unlock app, it allows me to proceed immediately after login.Yeah, the other user confused me.. I though you answered, but the answer was someone different who didnt know WHICH ROM I meant and wanted to look cool. So he replied with my answer (which didnt make any sense, because that was not the ROM I was talking about..)
Oh.. You were lucky with 15mins.. I could cry with 720hours..
I want Xiaomi.eu ROM for better PlayStore integration, getting rid of Bloatware and I want it in German (coming from Austria).
When I unlocked my mi5s two years ago I had to wait a coupe of days or so but I still had to wait 15 days for the mi pad 4 unlocking.I think I'm super lucky - I applied for BL unlock years ago to fix a relative's Redmi Note 3. FWIW from googling this is normal - you only need to wait 30 days once, then after that you can unlock straight away in future, though you're limited to one device per 30 days or something like that.
Its to stop people installing vendor ROMs and malware though it hasn't appeared to stop that at all LOL
