My phone fell from a bench and cracked the screen. Weak ass note 2 screens and second one. Is this method working well for people with 4.3 replacement phones?

It is rom related. When all these roms get 4.4 stuff added it messes with the system. They don't have the official 4.4 sound software(for our phones), so it's really playing catch up. This is assuming it has the 4.4 music apk. Should be able to replace with stock and help the issue. Used to run into the same problems with the droid X and X2 in that department.

This is usually an ad blocker issue. I don't have the problem, but I am pretty sure you can find a fix in the N3bula thread.

Just delete the boot.img, easiest method

Ok im using linux. So please let me know if im doing this right. I unzipped it. to 6 folders. I deleted the Boot image file. then repacked the rest back to a .zip file. i can now use this new .zip in SafeStrap right? or at least with the info ive given i SHOULD be able to do this without any errors?

Ok it took a while to notice what the difference in the aroma-config and the updater script were and where they were. They were located in the META-INF folder (once unzipped) just keep clicking, then com, then google, then android, then aroma with 4 files two of them you will modify the aroma-config and the updater script. The OP does not tell you what to delete. but once i compared i seen it was the kernel info in both files were deleted and that was all from what i could tell. so i deleted it and saved. and then rezipped the 5 folders and the Boot .img.

Cause some roms you have to dig to find the boot.img.. I'm the one that figured out it was the boot.img that was causing the problem.

Ok then should i add the kernel stuff back in to the .zip? and delete the boot .img? and rezip? i want the most safe install possible. i dont mind doing it over if its safer.
