Hey guys, I hope you know that tobias.waldvogel has created the DRM functions restoration mod (a big thanks to him).

Everything works great now, pictures quality has been restored, I'm getting app notifications through what's new among other things that were lost after unlocking the bootloader.

I noticed that the screen mirroring feature wasn't restored, so I made this mod for the Z5 premium dual.

Just extract and replace:

"build.prop" in root/system and "wfdconfig.xml" in root/system/etc

Change the permissions to rw-r--r--

Restart your mobile

Marshmallow update: Just flash the correct zip package via recovery.

Which file manager are you using? Have you allowed read-write permission.
Install x-plore from play store.
Select configuration.
Change root access to superuser + mount writable.
Open the root folder, grant root access when the pop up window appears and replace the files.
Restart.

Flashable zip added. Just go to recovery and flash.

I did not realise your flashable zip is only for dual Sim phone. I flashed it and now my single Sim phone thinks it's dual Sim. How do I remove this zip to undo the changes?

You'll have to reflash the firmware or just ask someone here with the single sim variant for the 2 files.

It works with Sony bravia LED's/LCD's which have the screen mirroring feature, I do use this feature all the time. I'm not sure about other smart tv's.

Have you resolved the issue buddy? If not, I see you've flashed the RomAur ROM on your phone. Just extract the rom zip file in your pc, go to system, you'll find the build.prop file there, then open etc, you'll get the wfdconfig.xml file from there. Just replace the files in your phone, it should fix the issue.

Hi, I was using the generic Italy ROM. I went back and used flashtool to reflash it without wiping data, and it worked well. Thanks for asking.

I modified files and succeed in creating a zip to install them on my phone without root, now the Screen Mirroring works, but still get the message:

"The output device does not support HDCP You can only mirror unprotected content of the following applications.:
Xperia Home, Video, Music or Walkman, Settings "

I share the zip in case someone needs it.
