not seen this available to download for me yet. how does it work for tablets? if a tablet is a mobile network tablet, do we have to wait for that mobile network to release their build of the OS in much the same way as what happens with mobile phones? or does it come straight from Samsung?

I guess it depends. If you bought a branded tablet (but i don't know if that exists like phones) you will get the update from your carrier.

I think in most cases it's pushed from Sammy.
As it is only available for Italian regions they should be the only ones that get a update prompt direct on their device.

If you have a custom rom you probably won't get a prompt.

But you can in any case download the file from the link provided and try flashing it manually via Odin.

It's just too annoying to get the download finished without premium account from those sites.

I got it to work:

Installed the official FW as described in this guide:

Then Installed latest TWRP from this thread via Odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/recovery-twrp-2-8-7-x-lollipop-5-1-1-t3205686

then i went into recovery and installed Latest Su beta 2.71 and wanam xposed from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960

no data wipe

Just to clarify, and forgive me if you've answered this previously, so you managed to flash MM from version T715 to an originally version T15Y device? Cheers

No. Sry if that's not clear. I have a normal t715 or someone named it the T715X. I just know it as this model.

You do realise you can flash factory firmware with TWRP?
I compiled TWRP with support for flashing all partitions except the bootloader which needs to be flashed with ODIN.
Yeah but you can't flash the boot partition. So you have to extract it anyways as you need to update boot when upgrading from lp to mm, right?

You mean the bootloader? The boot partition is for the kernel.
Yes at the moment bootloader needs to be flashed with ODIN.

Well here it is. I've extracted the bootloader and modem and made then Odin flashable. I've also made this Rom with android Kitchen so you'll need a custom recovery to flash it.

Edit: this should work for the T715Y, I haven't tested it yet until I get LL stock firmware, just in case it didn't work and I need to revert back,

Yup but I still need to flash the MM bootloader, otherwise it's just stuck in a bootloop.

Unfortunately this bootloader won't flash on the T715Y, I keep on getting a SQT_CLOSE error. Which I think it's some knox security stuff

Got the MM today (T715) via wi-fi, I guess the changelog is the same for everyone and for each version? But I'm not confident, is it worthy to install it now? I mean lollipop works well and Guys, those who already installed it - is it good? How's the overall performance? I hope there are no any app crashes?

I would say it's definitely worth it. It's butter smooth, Snappy, battery lasts longer. Some good new features. Fingerprint finally works now. And i did not even lose app data. Root and Xposed all work fine.
So yes. It's a recommendation

Samsung update policy is really very dirty one .... SM-T 715 (MID region) & still waiting for Marshmallow, I don't want to flash other region firmware to keep OTA on.

how long usually it takes Samsung to push updates for other regions ?!
