I have marshmallow on my galaxy 6 edge plus yet I felt my U.S. version of my tab s2 with lollipop is much faster..I'm not gonna update my tab s2 to marshmallow and just will wait for Android N for another year plus users have lost QHD video recording. .....
There is just about zero chance the Tab S2 gets N. One update is all we'll get.

TBH were lucky we get anything. The market for tablets is poor at the moment. I went out shopping to replace my GF nexus 7, unfortunately nothing is similar let alone better.

After doing the OTA update to Marshmallow, I tested the tablet out and did a factory reset. Last night I couldn't paste a link from Chrome browser into FB messenger app. Kept trying it over and over again and it wouldn't paste the link.

Then I notice contacts glitches with Viber which has never happened to my tablet while running Lollipop.
About Facebook Messenger you have to either open the main messenger window and pick the contact you want to send the link to, then paste it. You can't paste it directly in the bubble of the contact you are currently chatting with. I think it's a bug in Messenger, not Marshmallow. My Nexus 6P running N preview 4 has the same behavior.

But other than that just tap the three dots in the upper right corner in Chrome, and tap the share option and select Messenger. Your contacts will then show up.

Has anyone noticed choppiness ever since the MM update? Before the update, playing a graphics intensive game like The Room or Clash Royale (with many sprites on screen at a time) had no problem, but since MM, I've noticed a bit of graphical judder where animations aren't smooth anymore. I've tried checking for other updates and also reinstalled the games, to no success.

did you clear your cache from recovery after update? i found that helps if you have choppiness/lags

To anyone that has problems with MM. Did you do a full wipe? If not, do it!
I assume that many dont want to reconfig their Tab but unfortunately like most OS updates for anything in order to make sure there is not a conflict you will need a clean install.

i flashed the UK MM on my US tab s2 a while back.. loving it so far, no issues per-say ..but a few little tiny difference.. one of them being i can't see my twitter icons in my notifications..i can see everything else but the icon.
other than that, it's been smooth sailing for me.

Full wipe is a factory reset right? Or do I have to go to recovery and do the factory reset there?

With the latest update still no QHD. Mind posting a screenshot of your software level? I suspect the issue is not MM but rather 715 vs. 713 etc. I think the new Qualcomm devices don't have QHD

I just upgraded my 710 to MM. So far so good. I didnt realise any changes in performance for better or worse. The fingerprint scanner is no good at all and after not recognising your thumb it sets off a 30 sec cooling down period. I ' ve got the QHD option. The granular permissions control for smeaky apps like FB and the adblockers are probably the 2 good reasons to upgrade, besides having the latest and greatest for what it's worth!

So far from what everyone is posting it's like I suspected. The new Qualcomm devices 713/719 and 813/819 don't have QHD. The older Exynos 710/715 810/815 devices do.

If that's really the case, all I can say is Ouch. :crying:

Back in the good ol' days of the SD800, Qualcomm were king but the last few years have been awful. Glad I went with my gut and made sure I got the Exynos version.

Same here. The old story of gaming issues (mostly frame rate) after android version update on almost all my devices. And the companies? Well they've sold the device so there is no such thing as attention to bug reports or feedbacks.
And remember the days that the flagships were so few and developmment was so intense that usually some genius found a way to fix that. Usually a modified Kernel!
