Anyone else have their battery life go to complete trash again? The last update gave me 17 hours battery life on average, and easily 5-6 hours SoT. Now it seems that it's gone back to how it was before, maybe 10 hours total battery life and like 3-4 hours SoT thanks to Android System killing my battery again. Nothing has changed, all settings are still the same.

Your phone might be defective then because I almost never get below 6 sot. I usually get between 7 and 10 hours. I even got 12 once.
Well damn, what have you done with your phone? I'm guessing all the necessary debloating and just absolutely no social media apps and doing all tasks with no internet connection? 12 hours is literally half the day of just either leaving the screen on to achieve that or whatever else you're doing. lol

Can the update be taken with the bloatware disabled?
Yes, I did this yesterday. The apps are still there just hidden. As far as the update it sees the system still intact.

Idk if a rollback is possible. I'm keeping mine stock so I'm taking updates, but for those interested in root I would see if rollback is possible before taking any updates.
It is, I tried yesterday and it rolled back but I went back to the latest. So far you can flash back to the earliest firmware if you want.

Thanks. I went ahead and did it. So far only one of my apps was acting up after the update, so I had to clear the data on it and now it's working fine.

On the Verizon S7 Edge? No idea how you have your phone screen on that much during the day, but it's totally dependant on usage. Me, I typically get 2-3 hours SOT but that's going from 6AM to 11PM. I stream music for about an hour in the car, and the rest of the time it's checking my phone for a few minutes throughout the day. I don't use it for hours on end watching videos or navigation.

In addition, are you wifi or LTE? I usually get through the whole day, 2 + hours of SOT. I have three email accounts that sync regularly and I am 100% on LTE, since I have unlimited data. This is consistent day over day.
