MMS - Group Chat stuck on sending?

I have the regular S8 purchased through Samsung and am using it on T-mobile. Whenever I send a message to a group chat, the status when i click on the message says sent but in the list of messages (all the people have i conversations with) it is stuck on "sending" in red letters...anyone else experience this?

I know the message went through because people respond..it is an eye sore to see "sending" there

I'm also getting the same exact thing and makes me worry if people did get my message however so far it seems that they have. Definitely interested in knowing if there is a fix for this.

Messages is one of Samsung's worst apps. No option to stop the phone from turning on when receiving a message, the annoying " sending" thing and the lack of smoothness of the app make it almost unusable
