The reason you all are having problems is because of the kernel issues. PA has a hybrid of jwr and jss , some roms may work with PA, but alot dont. Same with other roms , CM's ramdisk in the kernel messed other roms up. When the hexc kernel comes then it will work much better. Patients is key.

PA is jss optimized rom side but the kernel is pure jwr.
You can flash jss kernels with jwr roms and vice versa but you will most likely have graphical issues (there is a zip file uploaded by David vaz that fix it).
Then there is the ramdisk issue. You can solve this, sometimes, by flashing the 2nd rom boot.img.

I am currently running the latest PA and Firefox os which is based on jss.

hi i have a Q how it this working it will erase all the 16 gb storage and then will create a new system2 partition with common kernel(boot.img) and recovery??? and will make a new smaller internal storage??? thanks...

can i use two miui's v5 with this rom both are 4.2.2 ( the reason is that i want to test the last but i don't want to mess my installation)

---------- Post added at 01:12 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:57 AM ----------

and one other Q why you don't add at the MultiROM_v1_n4-signed.zip in the end of the updater-script the below...

Code:
ui_print("Flashing Recovery...");

package_extract_file("recovery.img", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery");
and put the recovery.img (TWRP_multirom_n4_010913.img) inside the the MultiROM_v1_n4-signed.zip and flash it direct??? with one flash zip???

Well, I wrote everything and then my baby daughter came in and now it's all deleted ^_^

I'm assuming you have multi boot installed already.
Backup. Download the Firefox OS files (system, data, and Web server) and download Faux JSS kernel (the main one). I also recommend to download a graphic issue zip fix file uploaded by David vaz earlier, I'll find a link, or just search the thread a few pages back :) (basically If you run a JSS kernel based rom you don't have to but if you run JWR kernel based rom and you flash JSS kernel you will have screen Flickr and that fix it).
Extract the boot.img from the system zip file and flash it (I used flashify).
After the reboot, reboot into recovery and flash Faux JSS main line kernel (it's the only kernel that worked for me, I tried PA, and Franco only though, only Faux JSS worked (main line)). Remember that after every flash you need to flash multirom zip again.

Now go into the multi boot menu and flash as a new rom Firefox system zip file. When it is done go to rom list and choose the new rom (I renamed it too) and flash a zip file like you would flash gapps (if I remember the button say flash zip) and flash (in order) the Firefox data zip file and the web server zip file. If you download the graphics fix zip flash it now too.
Now go back and flash the graphics fix zip file on the main rom too (and the multirom zip file again) and reboot.

I also recommend that after you reboot into Firefox go into 127.0.0.1. It will open the Web server menu where you can change governors and clock speed. Governor change is currently bugged and fixed on performance so just underclock it to 1026.

I'm running it with PA for the last two or three versions so I guess it should work om all AOSP roms, don't know. As I understand CM just won't work as a team ;)

Good luck :)

Edit: Neo kernel work too so I guess any Linaro kernel should work or maybe most AOSP.

if you could upload a video on how to do it that would be very helpful for many of us..many of us want to use firefox os but are held back by the lack of apps and some bugs and we want to dual boot..a video starting from the beginning of flashing of multiboot would be helpful..if u can't it's fine..

Could you post a link to these Firefox OS files?
