[MOD][18 APR][4.1.2] Note ll Keyboard with Auto Correct, Handwriting and System Fonts

Hi Guys,

Here is Note 2 Keyboard from XXDMB6 version. It has auto correction feature and handwriting to text enabled. Thanks to eclipxe for the auto correction feature guide.

Update 18 Apr 2013:
1) Added latest keyboard from Note2 XXDMC3

Update 12 Apr 2013:
1) Keyboard themed with S4 style.
2) Keyboard based from Note2 XXDMB6
3) Download at link below. Backup language files in system/VODB before flashing.

Update 02 Mar 2013:
1) Rebased keyboard to Note2 XXDMB4
2) Add a version without auto correct
3) Download at link below. Backup language files before flashing.

Installation Guide :

1) Download the Note2 Keyboard at link below
2) Backup your rom and keyboard (SamsungIME.apk)
3) Flash the zip file in recovery.
4) Done

If the keyboard FC, try to turn off key-tap sound under advanced in keyboard settings (Thanks phil.o for the fixed)
Only a few Handwriting languages enabled by default. You can add more languages by downloading the language pack at link below. Unzip it and transfer the desired language file to system/VODB then just update the language at keyboard setting - Handwriting.

If you need to enable the secondary symbols on the keyboard. Just go to system/csc and edit the feature.xml or other.xml file by adding these code:

Just delete the language code you don't need. The feature.xml need to be set to permission rw-r--r-- after editing. Reboot to take effects.

not working

tried on XELLB stock rooted CWM firmware

flashed the zip file with CWM and as soon as the system booted i started getting the message

samsung keboard has stoped working and was terminated

and it keeps on poping up over n over again

i had to do a restore to get over this issue

*** update

problem was solved i just forgot to delete the .odex file now that ive deleted it everything is working awsomely

ur the best thanks ive been looking for this mod for soo damn long bigg props


* side note tho the auto haptic seems to be enabled by default and i cant disable it at all can you possibly look into it??

You mean after unchecked the key tap vibration in keyboard setting - advance, you still get the haptic?

if you don't have "feature.xml" search "others.xml" in the same folder!

Works great on ELL4.
Auto correct works fine only handwriting doesn't work.

Handwriting should work. Is the language updated in keyboard setting - Handwriting?

Could you please add to the OP that after editing the feature.xml file you have to check and fix permissions to rw-r--r--. I didn't at first, and there were no additional symbols on the keys, until I fixed permissions.
