Is this by any chance, compatible with Low end phones? (Galaxy Y, Fit, Ace, Mini or such?) And/Or Xperia Play?

I use it on galaxy mini and performance its 1000% better on cm10.2, animations are very smooth

To Check if You Have Init.d Support, You Must Navigate To This Directory, "/system/etc/init.d"

I figured it out after I saw your script change to Elite and it worked perfect.

I have the same issue. I set system as r/w but then I run script, SManager stops at line: operation is not permitted
