Has anyone been able to update snote from Samsung apps.. It always fails. I managed to extract the apk from cache. But it still won't instal. I've tried with the built in samsung apps installed with and without the update and with Samsung apps frozen and disabled.

No. It won't update. I asked in another thread if the note 3 Mod could be updated with S Note v3. The dev there promised to see if this can be done. This is in the Hurricane thread.

yes. THIS IS NOT A ROM. this is just a mod that brings you Note 3 features. and you must flash it on a custom Deodexed and TW bassed Rom.

Thanks. Ive got the file from a previous reply in this topic only. Ive flashed it over and above Omega v24 and the two small bugs that I'm facing are-
-Stock internet browser is crashing as soon as its opened.
-Touch key light behaviour is still strange as they are lighting up even when they are turned off!
I used Philz v5.15. I have attached a screen of my system information.
Has anyone got these issues even on v3.5??

Edit: One strange thing is that there are no such issues on my friend's Note2 with Omega v24!!

one more thing...Imy proximity_sensor was malfunctioning after updating it to 4.3 but thankfully I fixed it by a method stated in a website through adb fastboot (with a lot of headche)....now if I install another rom will that problem came back again?
