PS I have two questions
first one is do I have to run and install the framework-res.apk or do I just copy it to ...system/framework ?
and second question is is there any chance I could brick my phone or cause a bootloop with this mod ?

download framework-res.rar
unrar it and copy framework-res.apk to /system/framework
set permission to rw-r-r
reboot.

ok now isn't this luck. Today I just decided to flash back a stock ROM to gain some performance on my device and found one (AMA2 ). And then I started searching for a way to enable ripple effect in it and guess what - i found this post (again) and saw the exact same firmware number next to a modified framework-res.apk on the 1st page. So I just had to download it and put it on my phone NOW THAT'S LUCK FOR ME

I can say to anyone that is wondering if it works, that it really DOES work and is amazing )) Thanks a lot for this awesome mod!
