great .. you should consider deleting the file ODEX with the script .. so as to be compatible with the original firmware :beer:

The background doesn't stay dark when turned to landscape. Changes to original light background.

I see this too, but I think it is an effect of the characters that you see in 3D. You can change this effect?
One other thing, not a space is created automatically between one word and another.
