You can use the fully transparent status bar to get it transparent on the home screen aswell. But it'll be transparent in all other apps then (it may look weird)

Yes It does looks very weird.
I tried and returned back to "Black/transparent Statusbar"

I was wondering is there any other way ?

As far as I know there's no xposed module which has the ability to do that..
I hope Samsung fixes this bug with the next leak/official firmware. On the S4 this bug was fixed with a firmware update..
