I just don't know what I'm doing wrong ever since I got this phone the only thing I can accomplish is rooting and custom recovery no mods will flash whenever I do flash nothing seems to change.

I was stock fresh after rooting and twrp. I tried this mod twice and nothing happened. However I didn't wipe any caches either. I then decided to flash Freeza's ROM (because it's a stock theme) and try the mod again. It worked. (Thanks Freeza) It may also work for you. (I urge you to make a nandroid backup just in case.)
