[MOD][7.0-9.0][CAMERA] Magisk module for improved performance of the camera

this mod doesn't work on nougat sadly. I tried custom 8-9, which obviously doesn't work and the miui version, which does enable 60fps on the viewfinder of snap camera, but is unable to actually record any video. there is no hw folder to delete in /system/vendor/lib in the miui module, and deleting the hw folder in /system/lib of the module doesn't work either.

the newest version 260219 doesn't work either to clarify I'm not using miui, but dirty unicorns nougat from here: https://xdaforums.com/mi-5s/development/unnofficial-builds-dirtyunicorns-slim-t3696811. the updated version doesn't have 60fps on snap, and the viewfinder lags every second. and it is still unable to record any video. will magisk logs help you?

the updated version doesn't have 60fps on snap, and the viewfinder lags every second. and it is still unable to record any video. will magisk logs help you?

I confirm (LOS 16), but on Google Camera it works.

It's lagging heavily on LOS 16...either that, or I don't know how to use it properly. The only advantage I have i slightly bigger resolution (12.3 instead 12mp). Slow motion is lagging in every camera (and it's working just fine without this mod)..and Snap camera stops working every time I try to record a video.
Is it better on MIUI? Any solutions?

working well on superior OS,,, 60 fps video work with some setting on gcam but EIS didnt show up in gcam setting

1080p60 no longer works on syberia 2.4 or 2.5 with this mod, even with the latest 190419 version. snap cam records at only 30fps, and gcam stutters between 30 and 60fps like before.

1080p60 causes camera apps to instantly crash. This includes the default LineageOS snap camera, GCam, and OpenCamera.

Im using miui pro nougat 7.0. After flash my camera cant connect.i tried all versions,and still error.please make flashable zip for revert back to defaults.

As you mentioned the video recording is not working.
Please can you post here a screenshot with the HW folder that should be deleted?
I can't find it in my phone and I do not want to delete something else. Maybe you can recommend and app to do with it.

I think it reffered to hw folder in the module. Try uninstalling module, removing system/vendor/lib/hw from the zip and flashing the modified version.

Hello selfishjelly, now I understand.
I removed the module in Magisk, so the next step will be the removing oh the system/vendor/lib/hw from the zip and reflashing it again with Magisk.
