am i blind or did you just link to farsight's post which gives access to a dark, blurry, grainy and extremely laggy (hence to 19fps) vid???
this doesn't advertise your mod very well :p
please give us a 10mbit,30fps sample in broad daylight. i'd like to see what the defy is capable of since mine produces the same sh*t as farsight's :D

THANKS!

So, which is the best settings for best possible result? I know the lagging still there but reduce it and still obtain best result at the same time.
Did some testing under a bright sun and video playback seemed improve a little..
Next, will try overclock to 1100 and see if it improve...

Could you post your LGcamera settings? 720p did not work with green lense only wvga.

yeah no problem,
GREEN LENSE (i understand green lense cannot record 720 just wvga)

video res : 848x480
video encoder: H.264
Video file format: MPEG4
video bitrate: tried full spectrum xD
video framerate: 30

also if it helps any i have tried mutiple settings and nothing works
i also just tried diffrent resolutions and such with no luck

thanks for the help, if i cannot get 720P WVGA is good enough

I'd tried all different settings, and scenario day/night/cloudy/sunset... I see it's all narrow down to the lgcamera capability/resources on continues realtime video/sound capturing at 720p. Defy can play AVI file of 2GB at 720P movie very smooth using 3rd party app. Or perhaps the Defy isn't tweak enough to its finest state. It still a lot to explore this Defy hidden talent than just meet the eyes...

Little off topic.
Now working properly "slow motion" and "fast motion" :)
Unfortunatelly doesn't work panorama mode :-(
Is showing notification:
"Not enough memory to capture a panoramic picture"
red lens of course

Recording and playback under settings 720p is lagging a little no matter how a I try different settings in the lgcamera pro..
Below is the best settings other than 720p so I get to have smooth video recoding and playback as well.
Will also try higher bitrate and framerate to improve the video overall quality when I have time soon.

Video resolution: 800x480
Video encoder: MPEG4
Video bitrate: 4Mbit
Video framrate: 25

Audio encorder: AAC
Audio samplerate: 32000
Audio bitrate: 62900
