The Patch doesnt work for me. My Defy+ runs on stock GB 2.3.4, rooted and with 2ninit+CWM installed. I also had lgCamera Pro installed before installing the .zip.

I installed the .zip this way:

1. Copied 720p+panorama-defy+.zip to /sdcard/
2. Wiped Dalvik-Cache and Cache Partition with CWM
3. Chose the Option "install zip from sdcard" in CWM and chose "720p+panorama-defy+.zip"
4. CWM said Installtion succesfull (or something like this)

After restart lgCamera and Stock Camera still record in 640x480.

Whats my fault?

I think you have to be in Gingerbread 2.3 stock rom and with red len camera.
And download the correct file according to your Defy rom.... Defy or Defy+...

No cache or Dalvik wipe is required..

Hmm I have Gingerbread 2.3.4 Stock on my Defy+ and I have the correct .zip.

Maybe I just have to edit the Settings for recording-Resolution? How can I do this?

Urgent Help!

I've finished all steps above. But when I reboot my Defy and use the default Camcorder and Camera, the LCD Screen turns to black (However I can still take photos and see them later) the same problem happen to the LGCamera Pro.

I also tried to play a 720p video downloaded from Youtube, but both MoboPlayer and default Video Player but there was only black screen, only audio, no video was shown. It also happened to other lower resolution videos stored on SD card as well as camera captured videos.

What is the problem? I do need your help. Thank you very much!

Another problem guys,

All media players (both stock player and third party ones) are unable to scroll AVI video file (I must watch from the first frame to the end). If I scroll, my Defy is dead, I must unplug the battery and restart the device. What is the problem?

Why is the video recording in 3gp format? Cant we change it to mp4 format? Video clarity in 3gp sucks with 720p when compared to that of mp4 video recording with a lower resolution in miui and Cm roms.

Install a third party camera application such as LGCamera Pro
