I have a stock rom, I put the permissions as you said but it doesn't work so I changed the permissions and put as the original: rwx-rw-rwx and now it's working

one question.. the s4 status bar odexed is in .apk and not in zip, how I must install it? thanks!

Hi,Good Day to all of you.Well This mod is only for accuweatherwidget.apk. I have not modded accuwidgetweather_main.apk.
S4 Style status bar added for DEODEXED
2 style: 1.transparent on desktop and white icon. 2. only white icon

I have seen that since the leak for 4.2.2 comes, there is less modding in 4.1.2 department.

What inspired me to mod is that i like the weatherwidget of s4 style and there are lots of available here for 4.2.2 but since the stability of 4.2.2 is not good and i prefer 4.1.2....
So i decided to make it for 4.1.2( there are also mod by user name dr30ma and arsaw, but not working in latest 4.1.2 builds)

Well this mod is for 4.1.2 roms. Working on odexed and deodexed.
If you have different base you can copy my accuweatherwidget_main.apk and accuweatherdaemon.apk to system/app.

How to Install: (backup first)
1.download the apk whatever theme you like
2.rename it to AccuweatherWidget.apk(for s4 accuweather) or SystemUI.apk (for s4 style status bar )
3.copy to system/app
4.set permmission to rw- r-- r--
5.reboot
6.if doesnot show in widget try copy again, now it will show.
7.if still not working try clear data cache of weatherwidget and weatherwidget main in application manager.

I am not responsible if it damage your device....so always do nandroid backup first ..

In 4.3 for animation feature we have to use new touchwiz launcher which is kind of buggy and laggy.....and not officially provided in s3 official update.

Since I installed Boeffla Kernel my 4.3 is as snappy as 4.1.2 used to be, nut nevermind - you are the dev and you know better!

the touchwiz you(we) are using which is provided in recent 4.3 update of sammy is the same.,..nothing new...as compared to s4 or note3.

And to make it animation version we have to make single file from accuweatherwidget and accuweatherwidget main. And compile it into accuweatherphone2013.apk which is compatible with new libs and framework of new touchwiz.


And its a big task to make it work..

Btw. You can use the note3 ported launcher and weatherwidget by arsaw.
