Wipe, flash skyraider, reboot, recovery, flash battery zip, reboot. You must follow that precise order. Do not install any other mmods until all those steps are complete.

For some reason the circle battery doesn't play nice with roms like other flashable zips do unless that order is followed

  • * framework-res.apk/res/drawable/stat_sys_battery.xml
    * framework-res.apk/res/drawable/stat_sys_battery_charge.xml
    * framework-res.apk/res/drawable/zzz_stat_sys_battery_1.xml
    * framework-res.apk/res/drawable/battery_charge_fill.xml
    * framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi-v4/stat_sys_battery_0.png (0 through 100)
    * framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi-v4/stat_sys_battery_charge_anim0.png (0 through 33)
    * framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi-v4/stat_sys_battery_unknown.png

Added all of the above to the framework-res.apk of adrynalyne's Beta 4 of Frakenrom...signed it, zipaligned, etc etc...and upon boot, Google and Sense are stuck in a FC loop.

Any ideas?

At what point would you flash the black notification bar theme for 2.5.2 vanilla? I know there is a smooth battery circle in ROM manager now but I would like the smooth sense icons too

Anyone figure out how to get rid of the headphones? 2.5.2 sense, battery is working perfectly, but I now have the headphones icon when I don't have any plugged in. When I plug some in I get another headphone icon with a mic lol.

Is there anyway to make this work with a ROM that only has the drawable-hdpi folder? The new "official" ROM does not have the drawable-hdpi-v4 folder and I can't get the smooth icons/circle battery to work.

Update:

This mod works on the new 8/26 Froyo leak (MUST BE DEODEXED!), but does not contain the same images as the leak! This affects a great deal of the GUI, such as the lockscreen and buttons. I am trying to find a way to port these icons to the new framework, and will open a new thread when I have!

I couldn't get this to work with the new ROM. I kept getting a boot loop. I'll wait patiently for your updates! Any chance you could include the transparent status bar mod? Thanks

It really doesn't work for you guys? Are you on deodexed? I'm on 8/26 deodexed leak and its working. Weird. I don't like the old images that come on my mod, that's for sure. I'll update this asap, but probably won't be until Monday! Hope you guys can wait till then :)

Yeah I tried a couple times. It boots all the way to the lock screen and does have the battery meter then it reboots. I can wait but I forgot how much better the white circle looks!
