Hi,
I went through the postings to find out if this mod version can access SD card in explorer mode - found it can't!
Explorer mode is one of the main reasons I use QP. This feature helps users to go back to same folder in case a wrong image has been chosen or want to add more images from the same folder. No need to go through several steps to get there.
I wonder if any other image editing app has this feature?

Unfortunately, there is no fix for that yet.

I fix a lot of things to Android 11, like the incorrect behavior of the scoped storage and the critical bug: image disappearing, but unfortunately i didn't get any results in try fix sd card diretory

I created this account just to report an issue with Android 11: the file explorer mode does not work with SD Cards. It was working fine on Android 10 but once I updated to 11 it stopped working.

On Android 10 I use file explorer by clicking on "Storage" where it will display the storage devices such as SD Card, Now on 11 when I click on "Storage" nothing is displayed.

Since this is a major feature that kept me using QuickPic for years I would like to know if it is possible to provide a solution for it. Anyone had any luck making explorer mode detect SD Card in Android 11?

Finally I would like to thank the developers for providing such a great app and kudos to all contributors.

Works! Thank you. A tip for others using MIUI 11/12. If using Dark Mode on phone you will have to disable it for this app. Not doing so results in strange black block artifacts appearing when you pinch to zoom a pic.

My phone is MEIZU 18 PRO.It's OS is FLYME9.0(Android 11),and I can't find .webp & .webm files in quickpic 8.3,also 8.4.This isn't happen in the Flyme8.0(Android 10).

Are webm files supposed to be supported by this app? I recently lost my Pixel3a that had some quickpic mod app from some time ago (can't remember what ver unfortunately) but I'd been using it to browse webms for years. I got an unlocked replacement yesterday and can't see webm files on my new 3a now! Folders that only have webm files would not show up at all until I manually inserted some image and they still are not visible then.

I can see and play them in Files or MiXplorer, what am I missing here? Is there a webm fork I am not finding for some reason?

v8.4 still can't display saved image exif GPS coordinates (in any format), and only reads useless "address" field in image details info. Also doesn't show GPS coordinates on image info display with size and resolution. App needs to be able to read, report and display captured GPS EXIF coordinates, as not every image location has a civic address.

Go complain to cheetah mobile. The app is just a simple gallery app, it isn't a freaking map. I don't want my gallery reading my GPS coordinates. Use a file manager to view all that other nonsense.

Had the same issue, I have uninstalled it. Wrote on the dev's telegram as well, didn't get a response. :/
Simple gallery for now I guess :shrugs:
