Yes,you can.. use the tutorial and it works

Thanks!The manual way it is clear...but if i do it with the flsheable way,i need custom recovery?With the original recovery it wont work?!One more thing...Must put permissons to the apk that i copy?It is like this?

If you want to flash it,you need custom recovery .. and yes, that's the correct permissions

I'm new

Hi at all I open this thread to "repair" what Samsung did not port/enable to our S4 in Lollipop (DON'T USE THIS MOD ON KITKAT!).
First post is for the apps and second for the mods/guide (things that don't need an apk).

Before start 3 important things:
1. If you're on odex rom remeber to delete both odex file in Arm folder
2. Permissions for apk and libs are the classic rw-r-r
3. Permissions for folders are rwx - rx -rx like this

   1. Put Touchwiz home apk in system/priv-app/TouchwizHome_K/. Then delete file in arm folder if you're on odex.
   2. Put Headline folder (permissions: rwx - rx -rx) in system/app. Then set correct permissions for Headline.apk (rw - r -r).
   3. Power off then reboot.

Example: if your phone is odex, when you replace weather demon.apk in system/app/weatherdemon folder, there has a folder name arm, just delete all content in that folder.

@Albe95 - Maybe add the note "Don't install these apps on Aosp or GPE Rom: they won't work on that" like you did in THIS thread. I have Radium 5.1.1 ROM which is based off CM and it does not work. :'(

1. Check Video folder (check you don't have two folder in app/priv-app)
2. Check permission of new app you put in folder and apk
3. If don't work after this, so rare. You will need to delete and try again. But the UI of S4 and S5 video app from Stock LL I think its almost the same. Idk I didn't been with stock LL a long time.
