Look for MTCMusic_yellow_tag. It's the original version (filename and list mod with original colors)

YES!!! In yellow version of app, there are original colors, original bg etc. Download YELLOW version

You have to take the modded app and replace the original (system/app) with same file name.

Unfortunately I can not make changes for each user. But modify the resources (colors, img etc) of the app is very simple!

So I just tried the newest version with album art original colors. A few bugs.

First, I get a forced close the first time i open the app or the first time I insert a usb flash drive with media on it. After I press ok it starts up with what ever file was played last, not what was on the flash drive.

Second is the filename of the MTCMusic app used to be just "Music" in the app drawer and now its "MTC Music" and it doesn't flow with the rest of the stock apps such as "Video", "Navigation" , etc.

Third, even tho this is the original blue/yellow version the track time is still in red?

Last, its not pulling embedded album art or jpg's placed in the folders from m4a and mp3 albums even tho the widget is showing it fine. Also the track title is still using the filename instead of the id3 tag for certain albums not sure what the factor is. Im going to try the version without the album cover and see if it fixes the first couple bugs.

Hi, I am new to these issues . I have decompiled file with apk manager 5.0 and tried adding a layer of transparency in your file bg.png background with Gimp, but I have not succeeded yet. Besides changing the background image must change something more ?

So I tried the first version that doesn't include the album art and almost all of the issues above are not present. No force closes. The app filename is "Music" like before. The track time is the right color. Of course I cant comment on the album art bugs for this version.

But it would be nice if the files track title cant be pulled from the id3 tag or if its not an mp3 such as m4a, the extension is still removed just as it is in the track list on the right. That way there are no file extension at all in the app.

Also it would be great if the track title label width was wider to about the first button that toggles the track info/music vis. That way small track titles don't have to scroll. This version isn't as bad as the album art version. The track titled "Born to Die" was constantly scrolling and there was plenty of room on the screen to expand the track title label.

Hope this helps you track down some of the issues better. I'm sticking with this version as my daily driver for now. Great work.
