I am not responsible for any damage caused by this guide.

This guide allows you to have a custom font and IOS emojis

Prerequisites:
1. Root is required
2. Root browser app from play store
3. Download IOS Emoji 9.2 ttf from this post, and have it on your device http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/mod-apple-8-3-diverse-color-emoji-t3136169/post61370793#post61370793

Guide:
1. Rename "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf" in /system/fonts, to "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf.bak"
2. Copy downloaded "AppleEmoji 9.1 - caiosilva96.ttf", to /system/fonts
2. Rename it from "AppleEmoji 9.1 - caiosilva96.ttf", to "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf"
3. Apply right permissions (644)(rw-r--r--)
4. Finally reboot your device

Uninstall Guide:
1. Delete custom "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf"
2. Rename original "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf.bak" to "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf"
3. Permissions should be correct, make sure there(644)(rw-r--r--)
4. Reboot

This guide may work on other Samsung devices(Note 5, S6/S6 Edge, etc)

If anyone wants the script that i made to flash them here, just flash in recovery and you'll have them replaced as iOS emoji, save some time.

Thanks alot. I hate the Samsung imojis as it doesnt show the same as the standard ios/whatsapp/fb ones so sometimes it really confuses me to choose which one is really the right one.

Going to try this but going to see if I can find the emoji one ttf and replace that

Edit : after searching for a while and after the emoji switcher developer not updating the app for months, figured out how to install the emoji one emoji. Love those emoji. Thanks a lot for this guide!

Best way to get IOS emojis, LG emojis etc is to install Xposed framework (root) and install Emoji Replacer Module... Works like a charm and never let me down with no conflicts or unforseen problems
