Big thanks to the creator of this mod. It works on my xiaomi mi 5 and really helps the low sound on global stable rom issue when i activate volume leveler. And I just can't believe how simple it is to install this mod, I've many troubles installing viper4android.

when working with any sound mode when you turn on any effect, the sound in the speakers becomes maximum. How to get rid?

I flash lastest version A7000 on HTC One M7 (Android 5.0.2) via Magisk manager (magisk 16). The dolby atmos has stoped working (it mean FC)!
I checked the file system\etc\audio_effects.conf and didn'nt see below lines:

libraries {
  dax {
    path /system/lib/soundfx/libswdax.so
  }
.............
............
effects {
  dax {
    library dax
    uuid 9d4921da-8225-4f29-aefa-6e6f69726861
  }

After add above lines to file audio_effects.conf and restart the device, dolby atmos working well.


Tell us plz how to fix this problem before install, we don't thing add this after install is a good solution.

Hello! I've successfully installed via magisk Viper and Dolby atmos with AML. The thing is when i enable both, dolby has no effect. But when i disable viper, dolby will work.

Anything I miss here?

I am using lenovo a6000 it has preinstalled dolby digital but i want to use dolby atmos it how how can i uninstall it and install dolby atmos in it.

This is the Dolby Atmos sound effect ported from a Lenovo rom. This should work on all devices (starting from Android 4.3) since it is a software effect. It might conflict with other dolby effects you already installed. Flash the zip, it will edit (not overwrite) your audio_effects.conf.

Credits: ahrion and aki_007 for supplying me the rom !

Hi, I have meizu m6. there's no custom recovery for it, so I installed dolby atmos r6.5 manually. made root, installed root explorer, downloaded zip, extracted it to system folder, changed permissions on files and dirs, edited audio_effects.conf. restarted the phone. icon dolby appeared, it launches, but every time I tap smth it minimizes but changes happen in its UI, but it doesn't make any changes in sound. Does anyone had such a problem? Thanks
