This is from the thread for OnePlus 3 but also work for M8 (all credits to @EatBeans ) ​

I don't really like the apps which are coming with CyanogenMod. This is the reason why I created this tool. The tool deletes some apps of CyanogenMod and brings some fresh things like the Pixel Launcher/Bootanimation, the GoogleAssistant... For now you'll have to flash SuperSU by chainfire in front of my .zip file but I will try to find another solution I hope you like my work and give me feedback

Added support for other Android 7.1 Roms
Added build.prop tweaks (the script modifies the build.prop now instead of replacing it) thanks to @kl3
Added remember function from the @opengapps team
Added multiple device compatibility
Added/Changed Aroma Theme (thanks to @flar2)
Removed Google Keyboard and option to delete AOSP Keyboard because of inconsistence in the install progress (you can install GoogleKeyboard via PlayStore)
Removed Pixel Live Wallpapers because the app force closes (if you want them visit this thread and install the .apk. Then it won't force close http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/themes/port-google-earth-live-wallpaper-t3496358 )

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. BTW if you chose to replace the stock camera, won't be changed with Google one. So I guess u want to keep it

Thats strange.Should work on any device running android 7.

Works on HTC M8 with Team M8 Kernel and AICP nougat rom.
