The goal is to have differebt levels.. 192-810 810-1188 1188-1566

[...]
Thanks for answering :) one more thing, so the phases are "192-810, 810-1188, 1188-1566" does that mean in the 810-1188 phase the min freq is all the way up to 810MHz now? or are you just showing me what each step leads to and the min is still always 192MHz? Like this:

phase1 192 - 810
phase2 192 - 1188
phase3 192 - 1566

hi, iba

could you please explain what's 4) wipe cache+dalvik

i installed my kernel for badass→balance→cfg is it right?

im going to try the script:)
recovery -> wipe -> wipe cache + dalvik

you did it at every rom flashed ;)

badass, sure.. balance, is the same, my script will delete it.. cfq, yes, you could change if you want, it doesen't affect the script informations.. it's another thing not rillevant

exactly..
the minimum is 192mhz 810.. if some tool needs more than 810mhz.. badass change to next step, the 810 - 1188.. if the, emh, "load" of the cpu is less than 810mhz, badass turn back to 192-810mhz

it's the same what we are saying

ex

for normal tasks, you'll use the first phase
for home scrolling you use the second phase on ONE CORE
for browsing without flash, you use second phase with both core
for heavy apps you'll have the third phase

remember.. qualcomm has an asyncronic architecture.. so.. you could have one core at 1.56ghz, and the other to 192mhz

for other information find badass info :D
it's not my son, i only changed the default configurations with mine ;)

hope you'll enjoy it

I would like to try your script but I'm running into a problem I cannot copy the unzipped file into the system/etc/init.d folder here's a screen shot of error

Sent from my Sensation 4G using XDA

Ok nevermind I figured it out I just needed to find the right file browser with mount r/w.

DISINSTALLATION:

1) boot in recovery
2) wipe system partition (only system)
3) reinstall rom + kernel by zip file (optional if you don't need rom's kernel) + mod zip
4) wipe cache+dalvik
5) reboot
6) congratulation, now you have stock rom + stock kernel configuration without losing data
AFAIK uninstalling the script u don't need to wipe system & all these..
since it's just a script in init.d just delete the script in root explorer.. go to recovery just wipe both cache + dalvik cache & reboot should be enough

yep, if you read the error, you don't have the permission to copy it in.. use root explorer ;)

nope, you have to reactive the mpdecision by renaming it from mpdecision_dis to mpdecision

it's in system/bin/

and.. script changes the stock values, it means, when you delete it, stock values are already changed..
with new fresh installation without deleting data partition you'll have the stock rom's setting at all

it's the fastest way.. 10 minutes

Sorry, but I got to step 6 but my file browser does not have that option. I tried other one to no avail. Is it necessary or like it was said earlier in the thread was it just reboot twice. Just want to make sure that would implement your script :)

Just a note, although permissions were correctly set, the owner defaulted to system and was keeping Conservative running when screen on =P After swapping to Root, all is good =)

Also, I'm curious about your signature, would you mind posting your voltage table =)

all scripts need full root to run :D

if you have conservative on screen on.. that's the issue.. :D

sure, you find it down here :D

oh.. this is pure stable with huge overclock (i use 1.72 not 1.566).. but i have stability at 1.566 @ 1.050mV.. but.. the power consuption is the same.. and.. at 1.50mV if cpu goes to over 55°C, it freezes.. so.. prefere to level up :D:D

Alright I'm now the latest release from MIUI for the Sensation...going to try your script on this ROM tomorrow will post results tomorrow night...thanks again

Iba is there a way to tell the script is.working? I'm pretty sure I had it working when I was Ordroid because of the battery results.....after using your script...but is there a way I can confirm its doing its job?

root explorer..

go to /system/etc/init.d/controller

if you see 2 files.. it's all ok ;)

one is the controller of the 2 configuration (screen on/off)
the second is the screenoff confermation.. the "conservative" confermation

;)

I mean that uv is too low, my phone don't start... Also I've freeze with -50000! With -25000 for now it work fine... :D
