Hey guys, another little update :)
With the latest zip : "4.2" you will not have to execute any other additional commands in Terminal Emulator.... The installation is now fully automated!
Happy flashing ;)
Good, but maybe it isn't necessary to remove stock audioFX? Better is to provide additional script for it removal I think.

After updating to V. 4.2, I am still having this issue. .IRS files are located in /storage/emulated/legacy/Viper4Android/kernel/, and yet the app will not recognize the files. Anyone else having this issue?
No it is working fine for me on the latest version (4.2) on Resurrection Remix Marshmallow.

Hmmm. I have the same thing, except that the files are not being recognized. My File Manager is noting internal memory as Storage\Emulated\0\.

Try to to see again your screenshots you may solve your problem by yourself
Try this rename the viper4android folder to ViPER4Android (notice the caps) and kernel to Kernel (capital K)
No its not that

Storage/emualted/legacy/Viper4Android/Kernel is the reflected directory for /emulated/o/Viper4Android/Kernel. I can't change the former except from within the latter.

I deleted the Viper4Android folder in my internal memory to just clean everything up. When using Viper to repopulate the folder structure, the /Kernel/kernel subdirectory continues on into infinity. Is there a bug in the apk?

Updated to latest build of RRMM, which seems to have fixed file permissions. Added IRS files to the emulated folder for V4A, and the app is reading them. Issue resolved.
