EASY CUSTOM BATTERY MOD FOR TF300 & TF700​

For CROMI-3.4.6-7/CROMi-X-4.6.1/HYDRO 7

Requirements:

• Must have Root
  [*]Custom Recovery Installed (TWRP or CWM)
  [*]CROMI-3.4.6-7/CROMi-X-4.6.1/HYDRO 7
  [*]ECBM requires one of the 1% Battery zips below unless you already flashed one of the system types from CTM. (1% Battery zip only needs to be flashed once.)

Files affected:

• framework-res.apk
  [*]SystemUI.apk
  [*]Transformer.apk

Instructions:
Download the "1% Battery" zip you wish to use along with "ECBM" copy to internal or external memory, boot into recovery & flash "1% Battery" zip first (this only needs to be flashed once to set system up for 1% batteries) then flash ECBM. Done, Enjoy
(NOTE: If you have already flashed a system type with CTM then no need to flash 1% Battery zip just ECBM)

Changing Battery Images/icons
You can customize the battery images and use whatever battery images you like (provided they are in the correct format) with the following method: (On Windows PC)

1. Use 7-zip to extract mod to folder.
2. Browse to battery images in Battery/patch then replace images in all folders in both framework-res (dock images) & SystemUI (tablet images) folders, make sure you replace images with ones of the same name. ie in framework images are named asus_ep_kb....... and in system they are named stat_sys.....
3. Once done zip back up with 7-zip & flash.

Bugs:
No know bugs, please let me know if you find any.

Note:
The "No Text" removes the battery % text under the battery icons in the notification menu.
Good if using battery icons with % text included like icons above.

Sorry for the late reply, busted my eardrum & been a bit out of it.

There is already an original blue circle battery in the color theme mod, it's the first one on the battery mod page of the installer :good:

Will this work on the stock 4.2.1 ROM (unlocked and Rooted)? I flashed back to the latest firmware and I cant seem to find a 1% battery mod anywhere.

Which bootloader and stock rom version are you on? There are many versions of JB 4.2.1

You may be better off using PJC21's colour theme mod instead.

I did the SDcard flash using the V10.6.1.27.5 US firmware file I downloaded from the ASUS site. Doesnt that update the bootloader? Im not sure which BL i have but thats what I put in it. I could check if that version number isnt enough info

Yes that is fine you are on the latest. It means that none of the above will work for you. I just realised that PJC21's colour theme will only work if you are on CROMi-X but check the requirements - it's in the theme forum.

Ok i will look into it, I was thinking of trying that ROM anyways so maybe ill give it a shot. I appreciate your responses!
