[MOD] BlinkFeed articles view modding (4.2.2, updated: 4 june)

Hi 2 all. When we are reading BlinkFeed articles we see that:

First tweak remove footer with share button.

Second tweak made title and text of articles smaller.

And we get this:

Tested on TrickDroid 7.5.0, but must work on any 4.2.2 firmware (deodexed). Flashable zip in attach

Also you can revert back to stock look. See attachments

I cannot support this mod anymore - i came on SGS4

Am I right in saying we cant modify the feeds (apart from the settings provided ) to include another feed of our choice as its mostly HTC serverside?

You can't modify any feeds as the list of feeds are only provided by a 3rd party site to the app itself. What needs to be done to blinkfeed is to recode it to add support for custom rss urls.

When you have blink feed up, the clock and the weather are useless to me and the ONLY reason I never use blinkfeed. Not having them there at all, and an extra news feed picture would be far better and more useful. I already have a weather widget, and the clock is on my taskbar.

I'm also after this. Weather and time in blinkfeed removed and in the app drawer Sewell. Too many clocks. Not sure if it's possible though

Any luck on removing the clock / weather and just having a feed? Would be nice to be able to do that, and have the ultimate news widget without redundant info
